Delaware Seashore State Park is a popular coastal destination located along Delaware’s Atlantic coastline, near the towns of Rehoboth Beach and Bethany Beach. The park is centered around the Indian River Inlet and is flanked by the Atlantic Ocean on one side and the Rehoboth and Indian River Bays on the other, offering visitors a diverse range of beach and bay activities.
The park is known for its wide sandy beaches, excellent surf fishing, and access to boating, kayaking, and paddleboarding. There are two modern campgrounds — one on the north side and one on the south side of the Indian River Inlet — both with full hookups, clean bathhouses, laundry facilities, and easy access to the beach. A newly renovated pedestrian bridge spans the inlet, offering beautiful views and easy access between both sides of the park.
In addition to swimming and sunbathing, the park features a marina, a bait and tackle shop, and multiple dining options nearby. Interpretive programs, nature trails, and guided tours give visitors a deeper understanding of the area's unique coastal ecosystem. Delaware Seashore State Park is a favorite for beachgoers, campers, anglers, and families looking for a scenic and activity-filled getaway on the Eastern Shore.
