Manatee Hammock Park is a county-owned campground located in Titusville, Florida, right along the scenic shore of the Indian River Lagoon. One of its standout features is the unbeatable view of rocket launches from nearby Kennedy Space Center — it's a prime spot for space enthusiasts!
The campground offers 163 full hookup sites and a range of amenities to make your stay comfortable, including a small swimming pool, laundry facilities, hot showers, a pickleball court, and a convenient camp store. Visitors can also enjoy a fishing pier, a dog park, and plenty of space to relax by the water.
During the winter months, the park stays especially busy, welcoming snowbirds who can stay for up to 90 days at a time.

Cape Canaveral National Seashore is home to the longest stretch of undeveloped Atlantic coastline in Florida. Located on a barrier island, the area features a rich mix of dune, hammock, and lagoon habitats. At the southern end of the seashore lies Playalinda Beach, the closest access point to Titusville and a popular spot for locals and visitors alike. The nearby Mosquito Lagoon lives up to its name — we spotted plenty of mosquitos, but also a surprising variety of birds and even a few alligators!
One of our favorite spots to catch both sunrise and sunset is Parrish Park, located halfway across the A. Max Brewer Bridge in Titusville. The views over the water are stunning at any time of day, but there's something extra special about watching the sky change colors from that vantage point. We've consistently seen dolphins hunting for fish along the pier — it's a peaceful, beautiful place to start or end the day.
