St. Andrews State Park is located just east of Panama City Beach, offering a perfect mix of coastal beauty and outdoor recreation. The campground sits along the calm waters of St. Andrews Bay, while the stunning Gulf beaches — known for their soft white sand and crystal-clear emerald water — are about a mile away. This stretch of coastline is part of what’s famously called The Emerald Coast.
The park features several nature trails, a fishing pier, and a marina area where you can book boat trips or rent kayaks right from the park store. Campers will appreciate the well-paved roads and exceptionally clean, spacious bathhouses — each one even has its own washer and dryer.
While shade is limited due to damage from Hurricane Michael in 2018, the park is steadily recovering and still offers a peaceful, open setting with plenty of sun and sea breeze. Whether you're exploring by foot, boat, or beach cruiser, St. Andrews is a beautiful spot to unwind on the Florida Panhandle.

There was lots of birds and some very tame deer that came right into the camp.
We also did a sunset cruise, we saw lots of dolphins, a beautiful sunset and full moonrise.
