North Bend Park is a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers campground located near the John H. Kerr Dam on Kerr Lake, close to Boydton, Virginia. The park offers 200 campsites, with 130 featuring electric and water hookups. Many of the sites provide beautiful views of the lake, making it a scenic and relaxing place to stay.
There are two separate campground areas, connected by a bicycle and jogging trail that runs through the park. For water recreation, the park also features two swim beaches.
The bathrooms were very clean and well maintained, with laundry facilities. It’s a great spot for relaxing by the lake, outdoor activities, and enjoying peaceful, well-kept surroundings.

The swimming beach

Ella loved running on the beach.

We were there in the Fall so the colors were intense.

Ella had a blast running through the leaves.
