Jonathan Dickinson State Park is the largest state park in Southeast Florida, offering a diverse natural landscape that includes coastal sand hills, upland lakes, scrub forests, and the pristine Loxahatchee River. Outdoor enthusiasts will find plenty to explore, from scenic hiking and running trails to the Camp Murphy Off-Road Bicycle Trail System, which features designated bike-only paths for all skill levels.
The park has two separate campgrounds. Pine Grove Campground, located near the park entrance, offers around 90 full hookup sites, along with modern restrooms, hot showers, and laundry facilities. The River Campground, set closer to the water, has about 50 sites with electric and water hookups. While it doesn’t offer sewer connections, there are two convenient dump stations available within the park.
Whether you're paddling down the river, biking through the forest, or just relaxing under the stars, Jonathan Dickinson offers a fantastic mix of adventure and comfort.
