Johnathan Dickinson State Park is the largest park in Southeast Florida. It has coastal sand hills, upland lakes and scrub forests as well as the pristine Loxahatchee River. Designated bike-only trails are available on the Camp Murphy Off-road Bicycle Trail System. There are also plenty of hiking/running trails through out the park. There are two separate campgrounds in the park, Pine Grove Campground has about 90 full hookup sites with laundry facilities and modern bathrooms. It is close to the park entrance. The River Campground has about 50 sites, they have electric and water but no sewer hookups, however there are two dump stations in the park.
